It’s That Time of Year….

The office has been all abuzz lately because, for several of the ladies, fall is their absolute favorite time of year. I can’t say I share the same sentiments, as I am a true blue summer girl, and the arrival of fall means my beach days are numbered….but I do appreciate the fall season, especially here in our beautiful state of Michigan. It’s a busy time of year, with school and after school activities gearing back up, yet it’s also a time to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life….the beautiful colors of the changing leaves, Friday night football games, visiting the pumpkin patch on a crisp autumn morning, fresh apple cider and warm donuts, and time spent with family and friends around a fire or a good home-cooked meal.

One of MY most favorite things about fall, or really any season or holiday, is decorating my home to reflect the season! In this post I have compiled a few of my favorite fall decorating ideas for you to enjoy and give you some inspiration for your own home. I have to say, while I’m not *quite* ready to put away my flip flops and beach towels for the year, compiling this blog post has helped me get in the fall spirit! I am absolutely in LOVE with the color palette shown in these photos. The light greens and creams are so calming and peaceful, and let’s face it….with the craziness that this time of year sometimes brings, who wouldn’t love to come home to this soothing color palette? Grab your favorite fall beverage (Pumpkin Spice Latte, anyone?) and enjoy!!!
